Parts of Amanda's past REVEALED! She was just VERY devoted to her investigative journalism, but something about Felicity (perhaps her unique smell) snapped Amanda back to reality for a brief while. In any event, Amanda is quite the method actor, going so far as to act like a spaz even to her own father, who clearly must be aware that she's just doing it for the sake of a book deal. One wonders a) how long she's had a deal with the publisher lined up, and b) how long she planned to keep up the act before finally writing the book itself.

As it stands, I'd say the "act" is over now. Hopefully she can write the book and make enough from the royalties to pay off her yacht.
